Sales and Marketing Coordinator – Professional Services Company

The company:

The company was formed in 1997 and is a fully Australian owned private company delivering business centric ICT projects and solutions to mid sized enterprises from a base of 30 staff and 100 remote technical consultants.

 

These services are based around our Cloud Computing model with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) and addition to our ITIL based Managed Services offering.  For our smaller enterprise customers we also provide Systems Integration, Project Management, Networking Solutions and onsite/offsite IT support.

 

The role:

This new role has been created to support sales increase market share. It is a role that is perfect for a parent who wants to work during school hours only.

 

You will be responsible for the marketing strategy by:

  • Developing and managing marketing campaigns together with our key technology partners.
  • Developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns from concept to completion (events, telemarketing and email).
  • Supporting sales with regard to CRM knowledge, data and list management.
  • Developing and managing sales/marketing collaterals (brochures, company profiles, case studies, newsletters, white papers, sales presentations and proposals/bids).
  • Developing and managing the quarterly Client Newsletter (electronically) for NSW as part of our external communications program.
  • Developing and distributing Media Releases.

 

Experience: 

  • You will need to have tertiary education in marketing, sales experience and minimum 7 years commercial experience in the ITC industry where you can demonstrate that your activities have led to revenue generation. 
  • You will have proven leadership and managerial skills and an ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in the technology industry particularly in the roles of marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Very high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are also prerequisites.
  • Strong project management and implementation skills.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Superior copywriting skills.

Service Desk Administrator

 

The Service Desk Administrator is the point of contact for DNS IT clients via phone and email. This role is responsible for the initial investigation, prioritization and logging of incidents in the incident management system. The Service Desk Administrator will also be expected to respond to client queries, perform basic troubleshooting, resolve simple problems at first touch, such as password resets, and responsible for general office administration duties.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • First point of contact for DNS IT clients via phone and email 
  • Logging of incidents into call logging system 
  • Obtaining and adding necessary details to incidents  
  • Updating incidents with new information from clients and vendors 
  • Identifying the urgency and setting a priority to the incident 
  • Responding to DNS IT client queries 
  • Perform basic troubleshooting 
  • Perform password resets 
  • Office administration duties such as technical documentation, reporting, stationary, travel bookings and deliveries  

 

Qualifications and Key Skills

 

  • Experience working in a Service Desk environment desirable
  • Experience in providing a high level of IT Customer Service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a simple manner
